TO HOST A KEEP SCREENING IN YOUR AREA
We are always looking for public buildings (neighborhood centers, churches, adult activity centers, VFW halls, gymnasiums, etc.) that have room for about 150 people. During our KEEP screenings, we “create” stations for participants to go to each test, so it is important that the building have enough space to accommodate these stations as well as public restrooms. We also need the use of 25 tables and at least 150 chairs.
VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED
We are always looking for both technical volunteers (local nephrologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, phlebotomists and medical assistants) and general volunteers (dieticians, social workers and lay persons) willing to donate a few hours of their time for a KEEP screening held in their area.
BE A KEEP “COMMUNITY PARTNER” IN YOUR AREA
As our local contact person you would be responsible for helping to locate an adequate venue, find volunteers, promote the event around town, and take phone reservations to pre-register KEEP participants.
